About the adidas Superstar 'Muhammad Ali - Core Black'
A Shoe Palace exclusive, the adidas Superstar 'Core Black' is drawn from a two-piece footwear pack inspired by Muhammad Ali. A dark brown finish is applied to the leather upper, secured with braided rope laces and equipped with a stuffed tongue, the latter marked with a butterfly graphic on the interior side. Tumbled leather in a matching brown hue wraps the signature shell toe. 'Rumble in the Jungle' and 'Thrilla in Manila' are debossed on the medial heel of the right and left shoe, respectively, while the lateral heel is inscribed with 'Greatest of All Time.' The printed text is accompanied by a quote that reads 'I'm young, I'm handsome, I'm fast. I can't possibly be beat.' Anchoring the sneaker is a vintage off-white rubber midsole.
