Celebrating Chinese New Year, the Nike women’s Dunk Low ‘Firecracker’ features a colorful exterior that reveals hidden layers, all based around the sneaker’s explosive theme. The sneaker’s mismatched tongue tags act as warning labels, while the cartoon graphics on the royal blue overlays replicate the look of firecracker wrapping paper. The entirety of the sneaker’s outer layer can be worn away to reveal bright red coloring representing the firecracker casing. Underneath the red surface, a tertiary layer is rendered in black and grey, denoting the gunpowder residue from a spent firecracker.
