Shot by artist Joshua Gordon and published in 2023 in collaboration with Naohiro Tomura’s 1729 agency, Hysteric Glamour and Perks & Mini, 'TOY' is a chronicle of Japan's toy culture. Equal parts innocent and perverse, the book includes images of dolls, masks and sexual objects, exploring how individuals define and apply sentimental value to the items that bring them comfort and pleasure. This book has been sourced by Hi-Bridge Books, an appointment-only rare media archivist and bookstore located in Tokyo.
