The adidas ZX 8000 'Consortium Blue Glow Unity Purple' revisits the silhouette's auspicious 1989 debut, dressing the lifestyle runner in a familiar color palette based on the iconic 'Aqua' colorway. This limited Consortium release features an aqua blue mesh upper with tonal suede overlays and a molded TPU heel cage. Reflective silver detailing appears on the toe box, heel tab, and signature three-stripes. Contrasting pops of color arrive via a purple textile-lined interior and a synthetic leather midfoot overlay in a bright yellow finish. The sunny hue extends to the EVA midsole, supported underfoot by a two-part rubber outsole and metallic gold Torsion bar.
