The adidas Superstar CLOT By Edison Chen White Crystal Sand is part of a collaboration between adidas and Edison Chen, a Hong Kong-Canadian performer, and the founder of the streetwear label CLOT. The sneaker features the Superstar’s signature silhouette and design elements that match Edison Chen and CLOT’s aesthetic. The combination of these elements creates a shoe with a rich history and streetwear updates. For example, the midsole is stacked and finds inspiration in dress shoes. The upper is made of glossy patent leather in white, while the serrated 3-Stripes are crafted from black patent leather. Other elegant elements include perforations on the heel tab and between the 3-Stripes that look like broguing, and a leather tassel attached to the laces.
